A new pharmacy was opening on Ludlow Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The pharmacy’s branding needed to speak to its hipster and elder Chinese customer base. Stanley’s Pharmacy wanted to feel and act differently.
Stanley’s Pharmacy was positioned as the neighborhood pharmacy. A place where locals can come to fill their prescription and soothe their hangovers or calm a cold with heeling customized teas. A throwback to the old school pharmacy and soda fountain with a modern look and a wellness twist.
We looked to Stanley George, the owner and pharmacist, Stanley’s Pharmacy wanted to feel and act differently for inspiration. We tapped into Stanley’s love of Southern California with the bold orange color and the Sunset Boulevard diner typography for the logo. We knew that the contrast of the grit of the Lower East Side and the vibrant Southern California sunshine vibe would set Stanley’s Pharmacy apart and get it noticed.
And so it was. The launch of Stanley’s Pharmacy was featured in T Magazine, the New York Post, Fox News, Conde Nast Traveler, Business Insider, Self, The New York Times, Financial Times, Departures, Frankfurter Alleging, Marie Claire, Shape, and voted Best Pharmacy by New York Magazine.
